Sometimes I Visit Other Podcasts
Just like the title states, sometimes I like to go and visit other podcasts. It’s one of my favorite things about being a podcaster - making connections and getting to join friends on their shows - and I wanted to have a place where I could highlight both the episodes I’ve joined and the ones I was a guest host on too.
All the Feels Podcast
Okay, so stay with me here while I take a circuitous route to why I love and adore the All the Feels podcast and why being a guest on this show was a BUCKET LIST ACHIEVEMENT.
Back in 2015 when Hallmark was really starting to ramp up their movie production schedule to include other seasons besides Christmas, I decided to start a Hallmark Movie Review Blog. I bought the domain, secured all the social handles, and started working on my first posts that would publish during their June Weddings Season. And then…nothing. I chickened out. (And for those of you that know me, this was NOT Girl Gone Hallmark, but a different, earlier site that I will take the name of with me to the grave, lol.) ANYWAYS, about a year later, I was having massive regrets about not actually launching that blog/site and then thought, wait, why not do a podcast instead? So I went searching for Hallmark movie podcasts and found one - the All the Feels podcast. From the moment that opening music hit my earholes, I was a fan. They are so laid back and hilarious and anytime I think about recording a podcast I always think of them as my model of what is good podcasting. So, imagine my ABSOLUTE DELIGHT when one of the hosts, Dory, asked me to fill in for a couple of episodes?! There might have been ALL CAPS YELLING. Recording these two episodes was the highlight of my holiday season last year and so OF COURSE, I’m linking them here.
Hallmarkies Podcast
Did you know that once upon a time I was a part-time host/co-host on the Hallmarkies Podcast? I spent two years with them and was able to take part in so many fun episodes and interviews with not only the talent but with those behind the screen as well. Eventually, I had the chance to lead and produce a few interviews/episodes for the show. I am so proud of the work I did on these episodes and wanted to gather them all in one place.
Every Version Ever
My friend Jonathan North has an amazing movie podcast called, Every Version Ever that covers literary adaptations in film. Every month he picks a new book and then looks at a bunch of different adaptations in Film and Television. I was lucky enough to be asked to join in on one of my favorite books to be adapted, Little Women. You can check out both parts below.
I Heart Movies!
I Heart Movies! is another great podcast from my friend Jonathan North where every episode he gets together with friends to talk all about their favorite films, across a wide variety of genres. Jonathan was nice enough to invite me to do a Q&A on this channel before our Little Women episodes over on Every Version Ever came out. We had a great time talking about Hallmark and Horror movies, lol.
